I’ve been designing and building websites for more than 15 years. I have built two Content Management Systems from scratch with a focus on online commerce, both used in more than 20 countries around the world.
I’m married with a wonderful wife and have four amazing and talented girls.
In my work, I have the privilege of collaborating with amazing people and colleagues in many countries - crafting, customising, integrating and deploying my own e-commerce platform.
Being very much a do-it-yourself guy, I specialise in bespoke web-based application development but I don’t shy away from using and customising existing software to achieve what I need.
Being a developer trapped in an artist’s mind, I can’t help but create and solve problems I face or see others struggling with and find it very hard to say no.
From identifying my first major problem, I’ve created a solution: the first e-commerce website, build from scratch, to sell Christian books in Romania. After launching that in 2003, I’ve developed it more and more into a backend system for stock control, basic accounting, inventory management, CRM and POS platform called CCIDesq.
A few years later I’ve scrapped it all and re-built it in a new and modern programming language and then took it to the next level.
Seeing as my artistic side can’t stay quiet, I’m also quite passionate about graphic design, logo and branding, print work, multimedia, audio and video editing. I’ve recorded a music album when I was 20, been on the radio, then joined a major Christian resources distributor active in more than 50 countries.
